Thrower Troll Sponsored links help make RuneScoop possible; RuneScoop members don't see them. See here for more information about ads. Finallya monster without ice in its name! Of course it still looks rather icy; in fact, the thrower trolls in Daemonheim look almost identical to ice trolls. The difference between the two seems to be that ice trolls have spikes on their heads while thrower trolls do not. Also, ice trolls are melee monsters that wield a large club, where thrower trolls hurl rocks and have no visible weapon. Like their melee cousins, these trolls are fairly dangerous, They throw their rocks with decent speed and good accuracy, and even the lowish-level ones can dish out a lot of damage. For this reason, a protection prayer or curse may be advisable for the tougher ones. These seem to be among the rarer of the Frozen-specific monsters.
Table 74 contains information on all of the thrower trolls I have found so far.
