Please Whitelist This Site?

I know everyone hates ads. But please understand that I am providing premium content for free that takes hundreds of hours of time to research and write. If I can't make at least a little bit of money to support my family via this site, I'll have to stop working on it.

One alternative is to become a RuneScoop member. It's cheap, you get access to all of the site with no ads, and you help keep the lights on around here.

If you want to use this site for free, I'd be grateful if you could add RuneScoop to the whitelist for Adblock. To do so, just open the Adblock menu and select "Disable on Runescoop.com". Or go to the Tools menu and select "Adblock Plus Preferences...". Then click "Add Filter..." at the bottom, and add this string: "@@http://*runescoop.com/*". Then just click OK.

Thanks for your understanding!

Sincerely... Qeltar, aka Charles, your hard-working host and RuneScape guide-writer extraordinaire. :)

Getting to Daemonheim

Sponsored links help make RuneScoop possible; RuneScoop members don't see them. See here for more information about ads.

Dungeoneering floors are found deep underground below the general area of Daemonheim, which is an enlarged peninsula located east of the Wilderness and north of Morytania. This is the only place to train Dungeoneering, and you and every member of your party needs to be here to start a floor. Preferably on the same world. :)

There are three ways to get to Daemonheim: teleport, boat ride or walking. Note that walking will take you through the Wilderness, but Daemonheim itself is not part of it.

Teleporting to Daemonheim

Once you have already been to Daemonheim, you’ll have a ring of kinship, obtained from the Dungeoneering tutor. To get back here at any time, simply right-click the ring and select “Teleport to Daemonheim”. A nifty brick animation appears and a few seconds later you’re standing next to the rewards shop NPC. Just walk a short distance north to the dungeon entrance.

This is obviously the best way to go.

Taking the Boat to Daemonheim

If you can’t teleport, the second best option is to take the convenient boat ride from Al-Kharid. Get to the desert town using a ring of duelling, amulet of glory or other means, then find the dock located right behind the bank. Board it, and a short while later you’ll appear on another dock at Daemonheim. (Quite the seafaring navigation job there, but that’s not your problem!)

From here, you must follow a path leading west up over the terraces of the Daemonheim area. This will lead you to the same place the ring teleport lands.

Walking to Daemonheim

Since the boat ride is free and convenient, I can’t imagine why you wouldn’t use it if you don’t have the ring of kinship. But for sake of completeness, and to satisfy you masochists:

  1. Run east out of Varrock and then north up to the Wilderness ditch.

  2. Hop the ditch near the lumber yard and then run northeast.

  3. Look for a thin land bridge that leads northeast, up out of the Wilderness and into the icy Daemonheim area.

  4. Follow a fairly long, winding path that keeps going upwards until you see the rewards tutor and Thok, Master of Dungeoneering.

  5. Continue north to the bank and the dungeon entrance.

  6. Hit yourself on the head for not using the boat.
