Please Whitelist This Site?

I know everyone hates ads. But please understand that I am providing premium content for free that takes hundreds of hours of time to research and write. If I can't make at least a little bit of money to support my family via this site, I'll have to stop working on it.

One alternative is to become a RuneScoop member. It's cheap, you get access to all of the site with no ads, and you help keep the lights on around here.

If you want to use this site for free, I'd be grateful if you could add RuneScoop to the whitelist for Adblock. To do so, just open the Adblock menu and select "Disable on Runescoop.com". Or go to the Tools menu and select "Adblock Plus Preferences...". Then click "Add Filter..." at the bottom, and add this string: "@@http://*runescoop.com/*". Then just click OK.

Thanks for your understanding!

Sincerely... Qeltar, aka Charles, your hard-working host and RuneScape guide-writer extraordinaire. :)

Furnished Theme - Floors 18 to 29

The Furnished theme is the last of the three current zones encountered by players, though it isn’t the one found at the bottom of Daemonheim (because Abandoned is split into two parts). The Furnished theme spans floors 18 to 29; it has few of its own unique monsters, but includes some of the more interesting and challenging bosses in the game.

General Description

The Furnished theme lives up to its name. Gone are all the piles of broken junk and rubble found in the Abandoned theme; Furnished floors seem almost elegant by comparison. There is in fact a lot of furniture on these levels, including plenty of tables, chairs, beds and other items. There are also crates and boxes like on Abandoned, but they are at least in better shape. The color scheme is still a dungeon-worthy, dreary gray-brown, but even this is better than olive drab (IMNSVHO).

The Furnished theme has the smallest number of theme-specific monsters; there are only a half-dozen monsters I’ve encountered so far that appear only on floors 18 to 29. These do not seem to fit any particular theme, at least that I can figure out. The small number of unique monsters means that there are a lot more of the monsters that are found on all levels, or ones that are shared between Furnished and Abandoned. In particular, expect to see a lot of forgotten mages/rangers/warriors on these floors...

The six Furnished zone bosses also do not seem to follow any particular pattern or scheme. They include several bosses that manage to be demanding without being too dangerous; this includes the potentially annoying puzzle-boss Stomp and the spiral room of Sagittare. There’s still some danger too of course, courtesy of the book-barraging mage Lexicus Runewright, and the hard-hitting melee-only boss Rammernaut.
