The Beastopedia Comprehensive Source List The Comprehensive Source List is a good example of the power of the Beastopedias database system. It gathers together and summarizes the drops for all of the monsters in the Beastopedia into one table, so you can see every monster that drops every item. This table is similar in concept to a reverse phone directory, only for monster drops. Where each Beastopedia page shows every drop you can get for a particular monster, the Comprehensive Source List shows every monster that provides a particular drop. Thus, you can use it to quickly see which monsters provide a particular item or resource, and how many of it they drop at a time. The Comprehensive Source List is handy for finding monsters that drop obscure items. Suppose, for example, that you need a bronze spear to make a scarecrow for Farming, but you cant buy one on the Grand Exchange. Well, you can consult this table and immediately see which monsters you should try killing to get one. Sponsored links help make RuneScoop possible; RuneScoop members don't see them. See here for more information about ads. You can also use the list to check out the quantities of particular items dropped by various monsters. For example, if you want to get pure essence, you can see that abyssal demons and skeletal wyverns both drop them 60 at a time (noted). Please bear in mind, however, that this list provides no indication of how often you get these drops, so it doesnt tell you what the best sources are for particular raw materialsthats what the Good Sources List is for. The table contains only two columns: one for items and one for monsters and drop quantities. All of the entries are hyperlinked; if you click a monster name youll go to its monster page, while selecting an item name will take you to its Grand Exchange page, where you can check prices and trends. As with other resource tables, you can click column headers to change the sort order of the table, but theres not really much point to doing so in this case. Note that the monsters in each table entry are sorted not by alphabetical order but rather by combat level.
