Analysis, Discussion and Tips for Success
General Discussion
Valencia moss is one of five special "jungle herbs" that are part of the Jungle Potion quest. It has no uses other than this quest, but it is possible to continue to gather it and clean it for a small amount of XP after the quest is done. This is very slow and a waste of time in my opinion, but I've included the description here for sake of completeness.
Location and Access
Valencia moss is picked by searching fake mining rocks in the mine near the nature altar in the middle of Karamja. The fastest way to get there is to use the fairy rings to code "CKR" and run northeast. You can also just run southeast from Brimhaven.
Required and Recommended Equipment
No equipment is needed except for perhaps a lunar/dramen staff, depending on how you get to the area.
Required and Recommended Supplies
Lower-level players may need food to heal from damage caused by various monsters; an antipoison might also be a good idea.
Familiar Suggestions
Summon a foraging familiar to earn extra money for you while you work -- I prefer the magpie, given the high value of rings and gems today. There isn't a really worthwhile forager below Summoning level 47, so I wouldn't bother with a familiar at lower levels.
Technique and Tips
Search the rocks to find the herbs, click to clean them and then drop them. There are three rocks and the respawn time is one minute on a full world, limiting you to 180 per hour.
