Analysis, Discussion and Tips for Success
General Discussion
Ardrigal is one of five special "jungle herbs" that are part of the Jungle Potion quest. It has no uses other than this quest, but it is possible to continue to gather it and clean it for a small amount of XP after the quest is done. This is tedious and slow and in my opinion utterly pointless, but hey, that's up to you to decide. :)
Location and Access
Ardrigal is picked from special palm trees on a peninsula in the northeast part of Karamja. Get there fastest by teleporting to Karamja with an amulet of glory and then using a crossbow and mith grapple at Musa Point. Alternatives include fairy rings or just running from Brimhaven.
Required and Recommended Equipment
No equipment is needed except for perhaps a mith grapple and crossbow, or lunar/dramen staff, depending on how you get to the area.
Required and Recommended Supplies
Lower-level players may need food to heal from damage caused by the harpie bug swarms.
Familiar Suggestions
Summon a foraging familiar to earn extra money for you while you work -- I prefer the magpie, given the high value of rings and gems today. There isn't a really worthwhile forager below Summoning level 47, so I wouldn't bother with a familiar at lower levels.
Technique and Tips
Pick the herbs from the base of the special palm tree, click them to clean and then drop them. There are four trees and the respawn time is one minute on a full world, limiting you to 240 per hour.
