General Description

Coconut milk is used in high-end potions and poisons, and is made by cracking a coconut with a hammer and then using the opened fruit on an empty vial. This leaves behind a coconut shell, which has value in its own right -- it can be used to make supercompost in a compost bin.

Anyone can do this method, because despite its being used only by high level players, there are no requirements to actually make coconut milk. The only drawback is that it is boring and slow to make, in part because Jagex has not yet put a "Make X" feature on this activity. This tediousness is also what makes it a decent moneymaking technique most of the time. However, the profitability of this depends on the relative prices of coconuts and coconut milk, which sometimes move in opposite directions. So be sure to check prices before you begin!

There are no advantages to higher levels for this activity, so all versions are the same, except for the ability to use foraging familiars to make more money at higher levels.

I recommend only doing this method for short periods of time -- it involves a lot of repetitive mouse moves and clicks, and performing these moves for hours at a time could increase your risk of developing a repetitive stress injury.

Specific Method Details

Go to Castle Wars or another one-click bank of your choice.

Start by taking out two hammers; put one in the second row, second column of your inventory, and the other in the third row, third column. Position your coconuts and empty vials near each other in your bank. Withdraw 13 coconuts (use "Withdraw-X" so you can do "Withdraw-13" subsequently.) Then take out vials to form the rest of your inventory.

Use a hammer on each coconut to break it open. The most efficient way to do this is to click a coconut, then click the hammer twice, click another coconut to break it, click a third coconut to highlight, click the hammer twice again, and so forth. Once all the coconuts are opened, use one on each empty vial, doing your best to minimize mouse movement.

When done, store the coconut milk and shells and repeat.
