I know everyone hates ads. But please understand that I am providing premium content for free that takes hundreds of hours of time to research and write. If I can't make at least a little bit of money to support my family via this site, I'll have to stop working on it.
One alternative is to become a RuneScoop member. It's cheap, you get access to all of the site with no ads, and you help keep the lights on around here.
If you want to use this site for free, I'd be grateful if you could add RuneScoop to the whitelist for Adblock. To do so, just open the Adblock menu and select "Disable on Runescoop.com". Or go to the Tools menu and select "Adblock Plus Preferences...". Then click "Add Filter..." at the bottom, and add this string: "@@http://*runescoop.com/*". Then just click OK.
Thanks for your understanding!
Sincerely... Qeltar, aka Charles, your hard-working host and RuneScape guide-writer extraordinaire. :)

Method Description, Instructions and Tips for Success
General Description
Teleport tablets ("teletabs") are always in demand because of their convenience. They are easy to make, yield a decent profit and also provide good Magic XP!
For maximum efficiency you should have your own house containing a study near your entry garden equipped with an eagle, teak eagle or mahogany eagle lectern. I recommend putting this off a quest hall containing a mounted amulet of glory, or a portal room, for teleporting. Use a spirit terrorbird, or a bull ant if you don't have level 52 Summoning. Note that using a house servant to unnote soft clay is both slower and more expensive than just banking regularly.
If you can't meet the Construction requirements you can use someone else's house. This is unreliable (finding one is often a hassle) and also slows you down as you can't teleport directly into the house. For this reason my methods assume you have the Construction level to make the room and lectern you need yourself.
Note that there's no speed advantage to higher levels here, except for the benefits of increased inventory capacity you gain from better beasts of burden. This is one place a war tortoise is worth using, and a pack yak (level 96 Summoning) is even better.
Also, you get slightly fewer of these per hour than Lumbridge or house teletablets because you need an extra slot for runes.
Specific Method Details
Equip yourself with a staff of air and summon a pack yak. Take out a large stack of law runes and fire runes, and a small number of earth runes. Withdraw a full inventory of soft clay and store the clay in the yak. Then take out 25 more clay. (Don't bother filling the last 5 slots in the yak, the extra effort negates any benefit.) Cast Teleport to House and then go to your study.
Click on the lectern, right-click the Varrock Teleport icon and select "Make All". When all the clay is converted to tablets, right-click the Summoning button, take 25 more from your familiar and make those. Then take the last tablet from the yak and make that one. When done, go to your amulet of glory and teleport to Edgeville to bank (or use a portal to a town with a bank near its teleport spot.)
You can make about 755 tablets per hour and get around 27k Magic XP.
