Method Description, Instructions and Tips for Success
General Description
Adamantite is the second most valuable ore in the game, but as I mentioned in my advanced adamantite mining method, very hard to make money at strictly by mining. The reason is that most mines have only a few adamantite rocks and they take a very long time to respawn. This technique modifies straight addy mining to include mining coal and making adamantite bars, which makes it a profitable method of earning cash while also getting good Mining XP and even a bit of Smithing and Magic XP thrown in as well.
Specific Method Details
Start by teleporting to Canifis and running down through the swamp to Mort'ton and then Burgh de Rott, as usual. At the bank equip yourself with your rune pickaxe, Varrock Armour 3 (which works very well on adamantite), amulet of glory and weight reducing gear. Also take out of the bank your crystal-mine key (or key ring), 9 nature runes, 36 fire runes and a lava titan pouch. Be sure you are on a full world for faster respawns.
Exit the bank, use the Agility shortcut to the west and head towards the Abandoned Mine. On the east side is a set of stairs leading down; take that, then use your key or key ring on the door to your west. Run all the way to the west and you'll find 5 admantite ore veins. Summon the titan (for its Mining boost.
Mine all of the adamantite, then mine coal while waiting for the addy to respawn. Whenever you get six coal superheat one of the addy ores; you should have enough time to do three bars before the ore reappears. When your inventory gets full you may need to temporarily drop some ores or gems to make room for coal for superheating. After three sets of mining 5 ores and superheating 3 of them, mine 5 more ores and you should end up with 9 adamantite bars, 12 to 16 adamantite ore (depending on how many extras you get from your Varrock Armour) and a few gems.
Exit the mine, go back to Burgh de Rott, bank and repeat, summoning a new lava titan as needed.
