Method Description, Instructions and Tips for Success
General Description
Weapon poison++ (also known as "super weapon poison") is one of the few ways to get Herblore XP and make money at the same time. The reason is that the primary ingredient, cave nightshade, is untradeable and time-consuming to get. The only way to make this item is to pick it from a slow respawn in a cave near the Ogre City, and the tediousness of this process keeps supply small enough that you can make money with it.
There is no speed advantage to higher levels in Herblore, but at level 96 Summoning you can use a pack yak familiar; its extra capacity means 20% fewer banking runs so you can make a few more poisons per hour.
Incidentally, one way to make this task even more efficient is to bring with noted items to alch for Magic XP while waiting for the nightshade to respawn.
Specific Method Details
First, be sure you are on a full world, so that you get fast respawns. Teleport to the Watchtower and head over to the bank in Yanille. Put on weight-reducing gear and a ring of duelling. Take out of the bank your skavid map and a light source. (If you don't have the skavid map you must get it from a level 83 ogre guard in Gu'Tanoth). Also withdraw a pack yak pouch and summon it. Now take from the bank 11 coconut milk vials and 15 poison ivy berries and put them in the yak. Withdraw another 17 coconut milk and put 4 of those in the yak. Finally, take out 13 more poison ivy berries to fill your inventory.
Run around the eastern wall of Yanille and then south until you find the path leading into Gu'Tanoth. Continue south, go west over a bridge and enter the cave there; you'll find a single cave nightshade on the ground.
Temporarily drop one coconut milk and pick up the nightshade. Put it into another coconut milk and then add the poison ivy berries to make weapon poison++; then pick up the coconut milk you dropped. Every 30 seconds another cave nightshade will spawn; repeat until you have made 28 weapon poisons, using up the supplies in your yak. Put the completed poison into the yak and wait for 26 more respawns. (You can't put nightshade in a familiar.)
Use your ring of duelling to teleport to Castle Wars, store the weapon poison and use the extra 26 nightshade to make 26 more poison for a total of 54. Then repeat the process if desired.
You can make a total of around 108 weapon poison++ per hour.
