I know everyone hates ads. But please understand that I am providing premium content for free that takes hundreds of hours of time to research and write. If I can't make at least a little bit of money to support my family via this site, I'll have to stop working on it.
One alternative is to become a RuneScoop member. It's cheap, you get access to all of the site with no ads, and you help keep the lights on around here.
If you want to use this site for free, I'd be grateful if you could add RuneScoop to the whitelist for Adblock. To do so, just open the Adblock menu and select "Disable on Runescoop.com". Or go to the Tools menu and select "Adblock Plus Preferences...". Then click "Add Filter..." at the bottom, and add this string: "@@http://*runescoop.com/*". Then just click OK.
Thanks for your understanding!
Sincerely... Qeltar, aka Charles, your hard-working host and RuneScape guide-writer extraordinaire. :)

Method Description, Instructions and Tips for Success
General Description
Honeycomb is a secondary ingredient for the honey badger Summoning familiar. It is obtained from the beehives located between Seers' Village and Catherby.
No skills or special techniques are required here -- it is a straight running/gathering task -- which makes it well-suited to even low-level players. The method is basically the same for all levels, except you can use beasts of burden at higher levels to get more per hour, and you benefit from higher Agility as well.
Thanks to the June 2009 run energy update, no potions are needed at mid and higher levels, and very few even at low levels.
Warning: This method involves a lot of clicking, and for that reason, I recommend doing it for only short periods of time (one hour maximum). Take care of your hands!
Specific Method Details
Teleport to Camelot and run southeast to Catherby. Stop by in the room just north of the bank and grab the insect repellent, then head to the bank and equip yourself with boots of lightness and a spotted cape. Also take out of the bank a pack yak pouch and summon it.
Run west to the beehives, right-click the nearest one to get some honeycomb, then repeat 26 times. Store all 27 in the pack yak, then get 27 more and return to the bank. Leave the three empty slots in the yak -- it's not worth the extra time required to open the yak a second time and store them.
