General Description

Flax picking is one of the most-recommended way for even very new players to make money, as it is easy and has no requirements.

At lower levels the best place to do this is in Seers' Village; at mid-levels you can use a spirit terrorbird to increase capacity and save money on restoring energy. At higher levels Lletya is the easy choice as its field is right next to a bank -- so close, in fact, that there's no point even using a beast of burden. Instead, use a magpie familiar for its foraged items. Since there are no costs and you can pick so many flax in Lleyta, this is a decent way of making money, though high level players usually have better options.

Specific Method Details

Get to Seers' Village using a Camelot Teleport tablet, then bank there. Summon a spirit terrorbird and run south to the flax fields.

Pick flax until you have at least 12, and store them in the terrorbird. Then pick until your inventory is full and run back to the bank. The extra time required to pick the additional 12 flax and store them in the terrorbird mean you should never run out of run energy!
