Method Description, Instructions and Tips for Success

General Description

Shark fishing is a traditional method of making money from fishing for many higher-level players. It has the advantage of being a consistent (if not very speedy) money-maker, while enabling multitasking due to the small amount of interaction involved in the process.

Specific Method Details

The Fishing Guild is a good spot for fishing sharks, though there are some drawbacks: the crowds and chatter can get annoying, and you have to hunt for the shark spots among the many lobster spots. For an alternative, try the spots south of Burgh de Rott -- there's rarely anyone there. It does take some time to get to, but if you're going to fish for a while, it doesn't matter much. Another more peaceful option is Jatizso, but that also takes a bit of time to get to in some cases.

I recommend using a granite lobster familiar to supplement your catch (and give you some XP as well) when fishing sharks.
