I know everyone hates ads. But please understand that I am providing premium content for free that takes hundreds of hours of time to research and write. If I can't make at least a little bit of money to support my family via this site, I'll have to stop working on it.
One alternative is to become a RuneScoop member. It's cheap, you get access to all of the site with no ads, and you help keep the lights on around here.
If you want to use this site for free, I'd be grateful if you could add RuneScoop to the whitelist for Adblock. To do so, just open the Adblock menu and select "Disable on Runescoop.com". Or go to the Tools menu and select "Adblock Plus Preferences...". Then click "Add Filter..." at the bottom, and add this string: "@@http://*runescoop.com/*". Then just click OK.
Thanks for your understanding!
Sincerely... Qeltar, aka Charles, your hard-working host and RuneScape guide-writer extraordinaire. :)

Method Description, Instructions and Tips for Success
General Description
Since tuna potatoes are tied for the highest-healing one-click food item in the game, they are always in demand. Yet making them is fairly tedious and involves many steps, so you can turn a profit by preparing them. Best of all, there's no real cooking involved here, so you never burn anything!
Note that there's no advantage to higher levels for this activity so the high level and very high level versions are the same.
Specific Method Details
Buy at least 126 empty bowls, baked potatoes, cooked tuna and cooked sweetcorn, and pats of butter. Then go to a one-click bank like Castle Wars. Take out a magpie pouch and summon it -- this earns you extra money while you work.
Withdraw 14 baked potatoes and 14 pats of butter. Use the butter on the potato, right-click and select "Make All" to make 14 potatoes with butter. Store and repeat this 9 times to make 126.
Next, take out a knife, then 9 bowls, 9 sweetcorn and 9 tuna. Use a bowl on the sweetcorn, right-click and choose "Make All" to make 9 chopped sweetcorn. While the game is making them, right-click and select "Use" on one tuna. When the chopped sweetcorn is done, use the tuna you selected on it, right-click and again choose "Make All" to make 9 chopped tuna and sweetcorn. Store the toppings and repeat 14 times to make 126.
Now take out 14 potatoes with butter and 14 chopped tuna and sweetcorn. Use one on the other (don't eat it!) to make 14 tuna potatoes. Use the "empty backpack" button in your bank to store the potatoes and bowls, and repeat 9 times. Total time is about 18.5 minutes for 126, or about 405 per hour. Store your magpie foragings and renew its time every half hour or so.
You get some Cooking XP for this, but not much: 40 XP for each potato with butter and 10 XP for making the final product. To get more XP, start with raw potatoes, raw sweetcorn and raw tuna -- but the raw ingredients cost more, and it takes longer to do, so you make much less money.
You can make these faster by buying some of the intermediate products like potatoes with butter or sweetcorn and tuna already chopped, but I rarely see anyone sell them. You can also make more money by slowly accumulating butter by buying them 10 at a time at the Culinaromancer's chest whenever you are there.
