I know everyone hates ads. But please understand that I am providing premium content for free that takes hundreds of hours of time to research and write. If I can't make at least a little bit of money to support my family via this site, I'll have to stop working on it.
One alternative is to become a RuneScoop member. It's cheap, you get access to all of the site with no ads, and you help keep the lights on around here.
If you want to use this site for free, I'd be grateful if you could add RuneScoop to the whitelist for Adblock. To do so, just open the Adblock menu and select "Disable on Runescoop.com". Or go to the Tools menu and select "Adblock Plus Preferences...". Then click "Add Filter..." at the bottom, and add this string: "@@http://*runescoop.com/*". Then just click OK.
Thanks for your understanding!
Sincerely... Qeltar, aka Charles, your hard-working host and RuneScape guide-writer extraordinaire. :)

Method Description, Instructions and Tips for Success
General Description
Jennica's ring is a reward for the completion of the quest Spirit of Summer; when activated near an appropriate Wilderness portal, it transports the wearer to a part of the Spirit Realm, a mystical "inverse" of RuneScape. One of these portals is located just south of the Axe Hut in the deep Wilderness, and when you go through the portal you find that the axe hut is filled with level 42 ghostly warriors. These monsters are easy to kill and have excellent drops, especially mind, cosmic and chaos runes, making them great for both training and earning money. The only real danger with them is getting to them (since they are in the Wilderness), but you don't have to travel far in the Wild, so that risk can be managed.
Dharoks is the preferred method of fighting here; even though Dharok's axe is a slow weapon, you get a lot of one-hit kills which speeds things up nicely. These monsters hit so little, though, that I recommend taking with nitroglycerin (or "unidentified liquid") to reduce your hitpoints total down to a level where Dharoks works well.
Note that there is no real use for any particular familiar here, so just use a foraging familiar to earn more money.
Specific Method Details
Teleport to Ardougne and run to the north bank. Equip the first nine items shown, and take out of the bank your Recipe for Disaster gloves, a berserker ring (if desired) and a lockpick. You need the lockpick to get into the room where the warriors are, so don't forget it; the forinthry brace is good insurance against annoying teleblock attacks by revenants. Take out from the bank a couple of 4-dose super attack and super strength potions, and a large number of alching runes -- like 100 natures and 500 fires. These monsters drop tons of steel platebodies and platelegs and it would be a shame to waste them! Also take out both some cheap food (like salmon) and some nitroglycerin or "unidentified liquid" for damage dealing; you'll want to reduce hitpoints at the start, but may need to heal if you get hit too much while fighting.
Go west from the bank, go over the log balance and head to the Wilderness teleport lever. Put on protection from ranged and pull the lever. Run north and slash the web, then go east towards the axe hut and you should see the portal just south of it. Stand on the portal and "operate" Jennica's ring to teleport to the spirit realm. This is not part of the Wilderness so you are safe from attack here. Turn off your prayer and put on your gloves and berserker ring.
Use one or more of your damage reducers to get yourself down to about 20 to 25 HP. Then, enter the room by picking the lock and start fighting. Pick up runes, gold and gems, and pick up and alch steel platebodies and platelegs. You can also alch the steel full helms; this doesn't make you much money but it is effectively free magic XP. You can stay for quite a long time; just use Home Teleport when done.
