I know everyone hates ads. But please understand that I am providing premium content for free that takes hundreds of hours of time to research and write. If I can't make at least a little bit of money to support my family via this site, I'll have to stop working on it.
One alternative is to become a RuneScoop member. It's cheap, you get access to all of the site with no ads, and you help keep the lights on around here.
If you want to use this site for free, I'd be grateful if you could add RuneScoop to the whitelist for Adblock. To do so, just open the Adblock menu and select "Disable on Runescoop.com". Or go to the Tools menu and select "Adblock Plus Preferences...". Then click "Add Filter..." at the bottom, and add this string: "@@http://*runescoop.com/*". Then just click OK.
Thanks for your understanding!
Sincerely... Qeltar, aka Charles, your hard-working host and RuneScape guide-writer extraordinaire. :)

Jelly - Access and Combat Recommendations
Access Directions
The primary location of jellies is in the Fremennik Slayer Dungeon. Use a ring of slaying if possible, otherwise take the fairy rings to code "A J R"; the cave entrance is just to the east.
Walk west past the cave crawlers; if you have level 81 Agility, use the spiked blade jump shortcut to take you to the pyrefiend room, then walk west to the basilisks room, use the crevice shortcut to the turoths, and run northwest to the jellies. If you have level 62 Agility (or can get to that with a potion or pie), then walk around through the rockslugs and cockatrices, then take the crevice shortcut to the turoths and continue to the jellies. If you can't get to level 62 Agility, you must walk through most of the dungeon, past the cave crawlers, rockslugs, cockatrices, pyrefiends and basilisks.
Jellies are also found in two different rooms in the Chaos Tunnels. Neither is easy to get to, however, and in both there are other monsters, including poison spiders. I don't recommend bothering.
Equipment
Meleeing is best for jellies. Wear high magic defence gear; you can get by with dragonhide, but Karil's is preferable for those with mid-level stats. This is especially important for jellies as they are far from a bank, Guthans doesn't work well, and they don't drop bones for Bones to Peaches. High level players will be fine if they use a healing familiar.
Wear a black mask or Slayer helmet if on a Slayer assignment.
Supplies
Bring full super sets (two sets per hour of combat) and some good food; if very high level and using a healing familiar, the food can be average or even cheap, and you'll be fine. Be sure to bring a few pieces of cheaper food you can use up quickly to make space for drops.
Bring lots of alching runes, as these monsters drop alchable items often: 40 sets per hour or so at high levels.
Familiar
There's no need for a beast of burden here -- use a healing familiar to save yourself some food and hassle.
Combat Notes
Jellies are fairly straightforward monsters to fight, as long as you are wearing proper equipment and are reasonably high level. They have a relatively low maximum hit of around 50, though they do hit rather often.
Drop Notes
Jellies are a good source of chaos runes, green charms and not much else -- they are overrated monsters when it comes to drops.
Alch all of the steel two-handers and battleaxes they drop, but not the mithril boots, which are actually worth selling now.
Incidentally, the reputation that these monsters have as being good for level 3 clues is unwarranted -- it's a myth that's taken on a life of its own. They are decent clue droppers, but nothing special.
I used Karil's here but it's not really necessary at very high levels, if using a healing familiar. There's also no need for pineapple pizzas, which were cheap in 2008 but are no longer...
