I know everyone hates ads. But please understand that I am providing premium content for free that takes hundreds of hours of time to research and write. If I can't make at least a little bit of money to support my family via this site, I'll have to stop working on it.
One alternative is to become a RuneScoop member. It's cheap, you get access to all of the site with no ads, and you help keep the lights on around here.
If you want to use this site for free, I'd be grateful if you could add RuneScoop to the whitelist for Adblock. To do so, just open the Adblock menu and select "Disable on Runescoop.com". Or go to the Tools menu and select "Adblock Plus Preferences...". Then click "Add Filter..." at the bottom, and add this string: "@@http://*runescoop.com/*". Then just click OK.
Thanks for your understanding!
Sincerely... Qeltar, aka Charles, your hard-working host and RuneScape guide-writer extraordinaire. :)

Jogre - Access and Combat Recommendations
Access Directions
Jogres can be found in many places all across the large island of Karamja. One good place to fight them is just east of Shilo Village, as it is relatively easy to get to and near a bank.
Start in the village, getting your equipment and supplies out. Go east taking the main exit from town, going through the gates and over the cart, then run all the way east to the waterfall. Hop over the stepping stones to the north and you'll find a group of four jogres there.
You can also find a bunch of jogres in the small dungeon you access to pick rogue's purse during the Jungle Potion quest.
The fastest way to get there is to use the grapple shortcut from the north island; teleport to Karamja using an amulet of glory, run southwest and then use your crossbow twice to cross the gap to the south island. If you don't want to bother with that, then you must teleport or take the boat to Brimhaven, then run south to the south island and then all the way east until you see the Harpie Bug Swarms, then head west along the coast to the dungeon entrance.
Finally, there's a solitary jogre in the Ardougne zoo; it can only be maged, ranged or meleed with a halberd, and since there's just one it is rather slow to kill.
Equipment
For meleeing, wear standard meleeing gear, or use Dharoks. For ranging or maging, wear regular gear and fight from safe spots.
Supplies
These hit fairly hard for their level, so if you are meleeing then bring cheap food (high-levels), decent food (mid-levels) or good food (low-levels). They drop lots of pineapples and even knives to cut them, so even a mid-level player can stay quite a long time even on one load of food.
As always, super sets are recommended. If Dharoking, you can use Zammy brews instead of the super attacks.
Familiar
Bring a beast of burden to save time on banking drops, especially if you are keeping jogre bones.
Combat Notes
These are reasonably easy to kill using any style, though they will get their hits in on even high level players.
Drop Notes
Jogres drop a decent assortment of herb and allotment seeds. They also provide gold charms in a good quantity, as well as their bones.
Jogre bones provide the same amount of prayer XP as big bones, but seem to sell for more money, so they are usually worth taking. You'll lose some time to banking, though.
Jogres are one of the few monsters that regularly drops jungle herbs: grimy snake weed and grimy rogue's purse. Most players don't think much of these, but they are far from useless! Keep them to use for potions like Relicym's balm or Sanfew serum. Those potions are actually useful, just rarely made because normally getting the herbs is so slow and tedious.
