Shadow Warrior - Access and Combat Recommendations

Access Directions

To get to the Legends' Guild, either teleport to Ardougne and run northeast, or use fairy ring code "B L R". Enter the guild, then go up the stairs and ladder to bank. When ready, go back down to the main floor, then down to the dungeon, and run all the way around the fence to where the warriors are.

Note that shadow warriors do not appear on your minimap (they are "camouflaged" due to their shadowy nature...)

Equipment

Standard melee gear is sufficient, though you will take less damage with Barrows armor. Dharoking is effective and will increase kill rate.

You can also mage or range the shadow warriors; use your normal combat-specific gear.

The warriors can be cannoned, but as it is a single combat area, only one will get hit at a time.

Supplies

High level players need a small amount of food to kill these for an hour. Super sets are recommended to speed kills and reduce food consumption.

Bring about 10 sets of alching runes for the spears and other weapons they drop.

Familiar

A beast of burden is handy, and since they drop many gems, a chisel can be useful if you don't plan to keep the sapphires.

Combat Notes

These monsters are quite straightforward to fight; there's not much more to it than wailing away and picking up the drops.

It is possible to mage or range these, either using hiding spots or tanking them; the bank is not far away (top floor of the guild) for getting food if needed.

Drop Notes

These are pretty good "general drop" monsters. You'll get a good assortment of runes, gems, herbs and alchables, and they are also a very good crimson charm dropper given their relatively low level.
