Jungle Spider - Access and Combat Recommendations

Access Directions

These spiders can be found creeping and crawling in many spots all over the island of Karamja. But to fight them quickly, the best spot is the aptly-named Jungle Spider Island, located at the end of a small archipelago east of Yanille. Get there quickly using the fairy ring network, code "C L S". You'll arrive right on the largest island; go around to the north and you'll find several spiders near each other north of the small hut there. If you can't use the fairy rings, just run back and forth to the bank in Yanille.

Note that jungle spiders are considered "camouflaged" and so do not appear on your minimap.

Equipment

Standard melee gear is fine for fighting these; you can also probably safe spot them using ranging or magic gear, though I have not tried.

Supplies

Super attack and super strength potions may help you kill these faster. Since you'll be banking frequently, just drink doses in the bank as needed and put the potions back, so you have more room for spider carcasses.

High-level players don't need food; mid-level and lower players can just top up on food in the bank as needed.

Familiar

Bring the highest-capacity beast of burden you can summon, to cut down on banking trips (though you might decide not to use a war tortoise due to its high cost.)

Combat Notes

These are straight-forward monsters that are generally meleed. Unlike some other spiders, these are not poisonous, though they can hit lower-level players fairly hard.

Drop Notes

Jungle spiders are resource monsters, killed generally only for their 100% drop: spider carcasses, which are used in Summoning.
