Grizzly Bear - Access and Combat Recommendations

Access Directions

Use the southern bank in East Ardougne and then run east and north to the main location. As an atlernative, you can bank in the Legends Guild or use the fairy rings.

There are also grizzly bears in several other locations, which I honestly can't be bothered to find and document, sorry. :)

Equipment

Standard melee, ranged or magic gear as appropriate.

Supplies

Lower-level players will need some food, but not much. Super attack and super strength pots are recommended, as always, to speed kills and increase the percentage of one-hit kills. I only use half my normal amount, though.

Familiar

A beast of burden is handy if you plan to keep any of the drops other than charms. For players with low Agility, I recommend a bull ant or spirit terrorbird for this so you can also use their energy-restoring scrolls (see the combat section below for more.)

Combat Notes

There's nothing much to these, as they are low-level critters and pretty easy for all but rather low-level players.

Run energy used to be an issue, and I used a spirit terrorbird special to restore energy in doing my drop log. But since the 2009 run energy update, that's likely not necessary.

Drop Notes

Grizzly bears are decent gold charm droppers, their meat can be used for cooking, and bones can be buried or banked to sell.
