I know everyone hates ads. But please understand that I am providing premium content for free that takes hundreds of hours of time to research and write. If I can't make at least a little bit of money to support my family via this site, I'll have to stop working on it.
One alternative is to become a RuneScoop member. It's cheap, you get access to all of the site with no ads, and you help keep the lights on around here.
If you want to use this site for free, I'd be grateful if you could add RuneScoop to the whitelist for Adblock. To do so, just open the Adblock menu and select "Disable on Runescoop.com". Or go to the Tools menu and select "Adblock Plus Preferences...". Then click "Add Filter..." at the bottom, and add this string: "@@http://*runescoop.com/*". Then just click OK.
Thanks for your understanding!
Sincerely... Qeltar, aka Charles, your hard-working host and RuneScape guide-writer extraordinaire. :)

Crawling Hand - Access and Combat Recommendations
Access Directions
A beast of burden like a spirit terrorbird is handy (ha!) for collecting rings and colored gloves.
Equipment
Standard combat gear is fine for these.
Supplies
I use one super attack and one super strength potion per hour on these (half my usual rate) since they are so low level.
If killing many of these, energy or super energy potions are recommended for lower level players, since you'll run around a lot. Higher-level players won't need them.
Familiar
The fastest way to the Slayer Tower is to use a slayer ring, if you have unlocked the ability to make them. Otherwise, walk northwest from Canifis or use the "C K S" fairy ring . Enter the building and the hands are just west and then north, covering the entire west half of the ground floor.
A full world is useful here for faster respawns.
Combat Notes
These are simple, easy monsters with no special requirements.
Since there are only two level 7 crawling hands, and they aren't near each other, it is only practical to kill these in combination with the level 8, level 11 and level 12 crawling hands in the same area. They are all pretty much the same; the higher-level ones just have a few extra LP.
Drop Notes
These monsters drop a fair assortment of rings, and also lots of gloves (fits the theme, right? :) ) Take the colored ones -- they sell for surprisingly good money.
The (somewhat rare) crawling hand drops can be stuffed and mounted in your house to get Construction and Slayer XP.
