Access Directions

These can be found in many locations, but the best spot is a small building with 8 spawns, enough to keep even a high-level player busy. Get to it by going east over the bridge from Lumbridge, then going north; the building is on the bank of the river near the canoe station.

Equipment

For low-levels, standard melee, ranged or magic gear as appropriate. High-level players don't need armor and are better off using weight-reducing gear.

Supplies

Very low-level players may need food, though these do drop lots of cabbages you can eat for some basic healing, as well as bread dough you can cook into bread.

Familiar

There's no particularly obvious choice here; use a forager like a magpie if you wish.

Combat Notes

In 2009, Jagex redesigned the entire Lumbridge area into a "beginner's area", and when they did, they changed the drops of these goblins. They now provide a decent selection of newcomer-relevant gear and supplies, including basic runes, bread dough for cooking, and bronze armor and weapons. They are also a decent charm dropper for their level, and frequently give level 1 clue scrolls.
