Yes that's right its free without any PC.
Get a cannon and few hundred cannonballs, all you need is smoking kills done along with a slayer helmet.
Get the best prayer bonus you can, bring like 2K cannonballs, 3 prayer potions and range aberant spectres with the cannon, pick up only rannars. This will pay off your potions, the cannonballs and i think its a little faster than pc, and you might make a profit.
All you have to do is bank often. If you have slayer ring, this could ever speed things up much more dramatically.
Il post a great angle where to set up the cannon, for the most out of that cannonball.
Apparently luck is a huge factor here, im starting to see it, but if you consider picking other herbs, you should make it back.
Also check for seeds, they seem to drop snapdragon seeds fairly.

Ive tried the massive magic def, you could do it, but when you have 9 or 10 aberants attacking you, the hits such as 1 or add up very fast, if you have 88 summoning maybe that could do it.

I just got assigned spectres for my 100th task in a row - if you can't post a pic of the best cannon spot, maybe you could just describe it? And am I going 100% prayer so like wield a crozier? I forget what (if any) effect your range lvl or eq boost has on the cannon...

Its near SW entrance there is a spot if set up right its nearly catches all aberants around.

Wow - well i gave it a shot and my results aren't even close!

I spent 1000 cannonballs (200k) and 3 p pots(4) and killed 123 spectres and got back 36k in alchables and 8 ranarr (53k)

I must be doing something wrong...

...did it ever occour to you to.. dunno.. PICK UP OTHER HERBS???

I never did it, but useing a BoB, terrorbird, and run scrolls you could bank in almost no time flat and leave cannon there

Don't bother -- it won't. The one time I was doing this and let my prayer run out I was lucky to escape with my life.

And you won't get enough ranarrs to cover the cost of cannonballs unless you are extremely lucky. You have to pick up the other drops too in order to get close.

You have to bank often, i myself get rune full helms often.
It also depends on your prayer and range levels, me 99 prayer 33 points per p pot dose.
99 ranged, allows you to hit more often with the cannon.
It worked out for me.

Well, with cannonballs at 200 each, and shooting 2500 of them per hour as you can easily do down there, you'd have to get nearly 100 ranarrs an hour to pay for the cballs, and that is just not going to happen -- not even close.

If you pick up everything you might do okay but you won't break even just taking ranarrs.

It's so fast compared to single combat Spectres and there are so many good herb drops, I think a Beast of Burden would be best, simply so you can stay longer between bank runs.

if you wanted free ranging xp all you had to do was use bronze arrows/knives/bone bolts on.....

anything that drops anything worth keeping. How fast is this method exactly in exp/hr?

That isn't much.
Sorry ukraine, but anyone can make that much xp per hour using bronze knives at yaks.. and actually make money from picking up what the yaks drop (summoning seconds)

All without the hassle of a cannon!

I did tests at experiments with iron knives at 75 ish range and got half that...

Pures would agree with me that you can't do much better that 30k/hr unless you are willing to chin or use a far more expensive method. Of course you have 99 range , so surely you have done your own tests, but 60k/hr is a tad generous methinks.
