No offence, your method is poor, take mitre instead of hood, it gives 5 pray bonus and 5 magic bonus, take prostyele armor take the body and legs, and put them on for just luring lobsters, lose the wrench 1 p pot is way > than it.
Take fury if possible, extra prayer bonus does help, for ring id say seers but thats up to you really.
Youl need 10k deaths if you decide to use my equipment, trust me youl use em all, take 300 bloods 1K is not really needed.
You need to work on your method, people look for the best ones, this is not the best one.

Its the first posting...I've still got a lot to add, don't critisize until its done. And if you're method is so perfect why don't you make a guide then?

What its illegal now for me to critisize your guide?
I did not say "Mine is perfect" i said mine is better, and people look for "best" ones.
Why bother making a guide if you made one already?

The holy wrench isn't bad. It's giving you 2 points per dose - that's 144 points in this case. Even at 30 points per dose , you are only getting 120 points from an extra prayer potion.

Fury is worth it, yes.

Mitre is good, yes.

I personally use the explorer ring; I like the extra run energy and prayer bonus.

With max hit 'm', accuracy 'a', and monster HP 'x', this gives the expected number of hits to kill the monster :)

Its cool, just suggesting how you can improve your method, which can let you stay longer down there.

Hm... this sounds interesting, I might try it sometime. Do you know approximately what's the magic exp to summoning exp ratio?

That's not quite an answer, Klotski.

However, Magic exp to Summoning exp changes drastically as you unlock new crimson charm summons. It's better represented as magic exp:Charms.

I'm lazy, Boa.

To write out a fully blown answer, it'd probably take me 20 minutes. Pointing someone to reference material that possibly lets them figure it out themselves is much more efficient.

Mitre, agree
Proselyte: not worth the hastle. really.
Fury: agree
Wrench > 1 extra p pot unless you've got 99 prayer, even then it's nearly no difference.
Ring: explorer no doubt. The extra run energy > ten times the extra mage bonus.

If you're there for charms, not for magic xp and you are casting barrages, it may be better to cast smoke barrage, maybe somebody could test that. I don't have the money for it :D

At 99 prayer (Actually at some point before that), people say you get 3 extra points per ppot dose with wrench.

Sounds to me like the rule of thumb is... Amazing... 10% increase.
Therefore where x is the number of prayer potions (4) you have and y is equal to how much of a point is lost to rounding down per dose (27 ppoints: y=.7), if x is greater than 10(1+y) it is more efficient to use the wrench.
*had to type that in that format for personal reasons*

I tried and the poison did not hit nearly enough to make it worth doing instead of ice barrage.

Same magic attack bonus; no point.

Really, an amulet of magic would suffice for this purpose.
