The advertisements that you see on the various information pages on this site are one way that I generate a small amount of revenue from RuneScoop. This money, which I assure you is not much, is used to offset the costs of running RuneScoop, and provide a small, meager amount of compensation to me for the hundreds of hours I put into writing content and running the site as a whole. By viewing and clicking ads that you feel are relevant or useful, you help support RuneScoop and enable its continued growth and improvement.

You may occasionally encounter ads that seem inappropriate, such as adverts for companies selling RuneScape gold or offering "cheat codes" or whatnot. Please rest assured that I do not condone cheating or breaking Jagex's rules in any way, and I strongly urge you not to purchase such products, even if you feel "curious" enough to look at the sites that offer them. Don't risk getting scammed, hacked or being banned!

Please understand that all ads are dynamically generated by ad companies, typically based on keywords that are found in the text of each page. I do not approve of specific ads, nor do I have much control over what shows up in the ad rotation. I do try to block inappropriate advertisers when I see them, but there are so many companies that it's nearly impossible to get them all.

Please also note that if you subscribe to RuneScoop, in addition to the other benefits of membership, you gain access to a members' only version of the site that has no ads.
